I’ve been a tenant with Victory Housing for twenty five years. No problems until this year, when the house got a bit shabby due to all three of us here having spells of ill health. I have one brother with a heart condition, another with mental health issues & I have been in & out of work for four years so money is tight.

We have no central heating & there is a mildew problem in the bathroom even if we leave the window wide open even in winter.

As I say, things have lapsed a bit on the decoration but the house is sound. But Victory have said that we need to get up to date in two weeks & they will then inspect, if they dont like things they will seek a possession order. The health issues have been ignored.

Anyone got any useful advice?

Been advised by a friend who is a social worker that they need to let me know specifically what the issues are before they can take action. The guy who wrote the letter has never visited us, & they think he has gone a bit beyond what he should have.
