We accidentally broke the bath in our rented property (dropped the shower head in). The bath doesn’t leak, it is a cosmetic issue only, ok, we agree, it has to be replaced.
The problem is this bath, and the whole bathroom suit is grey, so now the landlord wants to change everything (toilet, sink, bath), and ask us to pay the half of the costs. The bath suit is more than 30 years old.
Should we agree to pay the half (£300), or do we have another chance?
