My ceiling has been damaged for over 3 years. The agency are sending a painter round soon after my son got involved.

They say they are not liable to repair and redecorate whole ceiling. Where do i stand.1

Hi Joyce

So, have they taken responsibility for the leaking roof? There’s normally an obligation to make good the aesthetic state of the interiors after damage as a result of something the landlord is responsible for. And what are they offering to do then just cover over the bit with the water damage?
