Hi

In the past few months the house I was living in (recently moved out), was sold to another landlord. We met the guy, was all okay, but I have a question about the contract.

So with the house changing hands, does my contract that i signed with the old landlord/agency still count, like can the new landlord use the previous contract or is the contract un-useable now. As I have not signed a new contract with the new landlord

Thanks

Max

Your current contract is still active until the end of it’s original duration, or until you sign a new contract, or until the new landlord evicts you for breach of the agreement.

Your new landlord has the same rights and obligations that the old one had and you’re still entitled to all your rights.
