Hi, I have a few questions I just found out they’re kinda important to know.

I’ve recently found out through the owner rents this property to a letting agency which in turn rents it to another agency to rent it to me. Is that even legal?

Also, can a room that has no window be rented?

Thanks for reading.

A property can be assigned through multiple leases as many times as they see fit- nothing illegal there although the owner may be breaching the terms of his mortgage (still not illegal).

However, no room can legally be rented without windows- thats called a storage cupboard. If in doubt contact your local Environmental Health dept.

Hope that helps
