I am about to sign a 2-year contract for a property and I have noticed a term in Early Termination section that says I can serve a notice after 2 years, as I would expect. However, it’s 1-year for the landlord, meaning that although I can not terminate the contract before 2 years, the landlord can after 1 year. It sounds unfair to me.

Is this a standard term? Or should I negotiate this with the agency?
