Can I still serve my one month notice (I no longer have a fixed term contract) after the landlord has issued his two month notice to leave?

As far as I know, you need to double check, when the landlord gives you a Section 21 notice to leave, it’s an invitation to..well..leave..So, you may move out at any time. 

HOWEVER, this is a huge debate and may cause a serious issue regarding unpaid rent and the deposit. 

So, if you can, it’s best to serve your one months notice and move on the day it expires.
