hi all,

never seen this site before today – it looks good! i have a little prob with a  ‘landlord’ , due to his refusal to give a 2 month written notice of eviction before he sells. i have asked for the notice a few days ago. he told me about 1 month ago that he was going to sell, but promised notice has not appeared. i will see CAB tomo if they are open. Can anyone tell me about rights here? I would love to be able to go to council renting in future ,. g

Hi George

We’re glad you like the site!

Here’s some information on the proper eviction process that every landlord must follow – you’re protected by the law from landlords that don’t do things properly.

If you didn’t manage to get in touch with the CAB try Shelter for more advice, they’re experts when it comes to advising on the legality of an eviction.
