Before i start i want to say i am probably completely over thinking the whole subject but we are desperately needing reassurance that everything is and will be ok.
We have rented 2 times previously and passed with flying colours. We put in an application for a new property due to needing to move to be in the catchment areas for schools. We were asked for bank statements so they check we werent living beyond our means and to check where our salaries get paid into which we provided and they were happy with after grilling us for every transaction, i also had to provide statements for a seperate account that my wages get paid into before i transfer them into the joint account which is done that way as its overdrawn from university (which they were thankful for my honesty). Had the call today to say all our references and credit checks were back and fine and that she would now pass the file onto her manager (manager of the estate agent) for approval. This is the part we cant understand and the part that worries us.
The process as whole has already been in depth enough more so than we have experienced before but what we are unsure of is why we get the pass and green light from the letting lady but then a manager of the estate agents needs to check it all through and approve us/the appplication. Has anyone ever been rejected at this stage?
Like i said probably over thinking it but just really worried!!
