It’s been some time since any of the carpets or rugs in our home were properly cleaned at all, and since we have some-how good relations with our landlord, we agreed to hire professional cleaners for a thorough job on our entire house and all tenants and split the cost (it’s a 2 floored house). But here comes the issue – our landlord seems insists on us using a specific company for some reason (barely known and we can’t find much about it on the web), while I would rather choose a well-established company like Fantastic Cleaners, where we will have the 72h guarantee to fully inspect the entire house and make sure each and all stains are out, rather than some local carpet cleaners we might never see again.. Both options have pretty much the same prices for carpet cleaning specifically and I can’t figure out why our landlord insist so much on that company… Almost feels like there is something we don’t know. One of the possible explanations I found on the web is that landlords are said to often have “close ties” with “particular cleaning companies”, but since we are not going to do this each and every month, I don’t think he could “earn” much, plus I’m pretty much sure he hasn’t had much experience with these guys (have not asked how many carpet cleaning jobs they’ve done for him, but you can tell it’s not much). Would love to learn if there are any other possible explanation to this, thank you.
