Hi David

No, the tenancy agreement is between the tenant and the landlord. An agent is only allowed to act on the authority of the landlord, they have no authority of their own.



A what about if agent use Rent to Rent  scheme and pay guaranteed rent to landlord and subletting.  I owe rent to letting agent not to landlord because agent pay guaranteed rent to landlord the letting agent  can’t give me notice 8 as he not own the property.
