I live in a HMO shared kitchen, Bathroom 10 room in large house. the landlords have fitted camera’s to the communal areas. but been told that they can hear every thing that discused in these area’s is this legal

I’m not a lawyer but that sounds pretty illegal to me – I would go and speak to someone at a law centre to see if it is legal or even have a first consultation with a solicitor.
