When i move out after 9 years with same landlord ,am I liable for chipped paint etc. I was the one who had it painted and had the flooring done etc

Hi Lorraine,

Industry guidance indicates landlords should expect to redecorate every five or six years.

So after 9 years you are not responsible for any redecoration costs.

If you are charged, then dispute it with the deposit protection scheme.
