My experience with Tucker Gardner in Cambridge in the last 4 years has been horrible. The flat I lived was ok but they never took care of it properly, despite my request to fix a few items, including the garden fence, the garden door, the door lock, the grill, and more.
Additionally, the agency missed several times the appointment they gave me for the annual inspections.
I had a major issue of water leakage in the kitchen since I moved in, but only after 3 years of calls and emails with picture of the damaged wall, they finally decided to get it fixed. When the work was carried on, I essentially could not use about 50% of my property, and not the kitchen at all, and the works lasted 6 weeks (despite the original planned schedule of 3 weeks). I suffered a major disruption of my quality of life at the property.
The company employees that were my contact were fired 6 times over these 4 years, without anyone notifying me, so that for a few weeks I kept emailing contacts that were not working for the agency any more.
They lost the spare key for the house and asked me to provide them with a key so that they could make a new copy since they didn’t have any backup.
Finally, as a cherry on the cake, they missed the checkout appointment, making me lose for no reason 2h hours of work. And after the checkout, after complete neglect of the property for 4 years, despite I left the apartment in better cleaning conditions than when I entered it, they charged me 30£ from my deposit to clean a stain at the bottom of the toilet seat.
In a sentence, avoid any property let by Tucker Gardner!
