can someone please help?
my partner and I recently moved in to a brand new flat nearly two months ago.
Our landlord is is responsible for supplying us with energy suppliers which he has not done (upon many other things). He has supplied the gas but not electric not has sorted council tax classification. We have been trying to chase this for two weeks and a half.
the issue is that we never received a phone number or email for the landlord however the estate agent said that we need to contact the landlord for our issues.
We then googled the phone number for er for the landlord as the landlord is a business. We have called every single day sometimes twice a day and we receive the same response from the lazy receptionists “he is not in the office, no contact email” blah blah blah. One of them even game me a fake email just to get me off of the phone.
We we have reached out to the estate agent who has advised that there is nothing more he can do.
Can someone please advise us what the next step would be? As this is becoming so very stressful for both of us.
The landlord even sent workmen to work on the bath (we didn’t realise there was an issue with the bath) and did not inform us that they would be entering the property. They left a note stating that they will be back to put the bath panel within 24 hours but we still have not seen them nearly a week later.
Please can someone advise
