A neighbour of mine has put an afficial complaint against me to our letting agent, who have said worst case scenario we could be asked to move out and want to know if there is a serious chance of this happening?

THE BACKGROUND:

My mum knocked on their door asking neighbour politely if they were going to be moving some rubbish from their builders that she believed to be on our property, to which the woman got very defensive and rude towards my mum.

10 minutes later said woman is aggresively banging on our door and ringing our door bell, to which i answer and am subjected to an aggressive woman asking for mum and being rather rude about it, who is not making any sense to me (I have not been told story yet). I tell her my mum is on the phone and im going to close the door on her. She again aggressively holds the door bell down for a minimum of 30seconds, and when i answer again it starts to get heated, she starts getting rude to my mum (Who has just got off the phone). Being a son, i defend my mum and may have had a few choice words (swear words) for the lady. She has now put in said official complaint.

Surely a one off argument, where ive been provoked can not be cause to kick us out of the house?

Probably not. Just tell the story how it is. If it’s antisocial behaviour, it is not you who has acted anti-socially.

Of course, it’s her story against yours, so you getter have some backup.
