I have a 12 month fixed term assured shorthand tenancy with a private landlord. 6 months into the term, the landlord has decided to evict me using a section 21, giving me 2 months notice to leave.
I have a 3 week holiday planned in the second month of the notice period, so we would like to get a move on and move as soon as possible, before our holiday.
Am I liable to pay the rent up until the end of the 2 month or until we return the keys?
I cant afford to pay the rent on two places and go on holiday.
