I have been given four weeks notice the landlord is refusing to return my wardrobe, which was loaned to her daughter when I moved into the property two years ago.i have told I will not move until she returns it.I have eight days before my notice runs out, what can she do if I refuse to go.

Hi Christina

What kind of tenancy agreement do you have and where is the wardrobe at the moment? Is it an expensive wardrobe?

If you have proof of possession of the wardrobe (proof of purchase, emails between you and the landlord about it) and it’s in the property you could possibly just take it with you when you go as it’s yours.
