I checked my agreement as my 6months is up soon I started on the 20th of the month which it states but then says it ends on the 9th April my six months I spoke to agent he said oh that’s a typo should read the 19th April would I be within my rights to say to say it states the 9th so that’s our leaving date?

I’m guessing that you COULD.

Typo or no typo, this is an official contract which is signed by both you and the landlord. It’s binding to the terms listed, which includes the end date. 

If there was a typo, it should have been reviewed and amended before both of you signed. 

However, if you really do this, you should expect all hell loose, as neither the landlord or agent will be pleased with this development.
