It is agreed that the tenant may terminate this agreement by giving at least one months prior written notice which shall not expire before 20 sept 2017.

Can anyone advise what this means? I have signed up for 1 year but advised the landlord we are having problems with teenagers damaging car so he suggested a get out claise. Does this mean we can give 1 month notice before sept? Or does it mean we are unable yo give notice until after sept?

Many thanks

Hello,

It likely means that you need to give notice NOT EARLIER THAN 20 Aug 2017, so that it can expire NO EARLIER THAN 20 Sept 2017.
