Hello – could an expert advice on whether a tenant has the right to speak directly to the landlord and bypassing the landlords estate agent whilst the tenant is under AST with the Landlord through the Landlord’s estate agent. If it is procedural or circumstantial then if you could eleborate that would be much appreciated. In this case a lack of honesty and trust has built up between the parties and the tenant does not feel the agent is acting in the landlord’s best interest or communicating all matters clearly. Second part would be ofcourse it it the tenants right to demand the land lord is sent all copies of conmmunications between the tenant and the agent as well as photos or video etc?
