Hi Christine

We’ve had a few people complaining about Landlord Hub – if you search for it in the search box (above right) this will bring up the other threads.

Hi all, my wife and I applied for a private rental property 10 days ago via a letting agent and as expected was told of the usual admin fees ie £200 for a credit check via their partner company: the landlord hub, we were told at the time of application that it would be hard dealing with them and that we would have to chase them for an answer to wether we could rent this particular house or not.  Well after countless emails and phone calls which have lead to my wife becoming very upset we are still no closer to knowing if we can move or not.  I feel we have been taken for a ride in this situation and for £200 fee deserve far better communication.  Has anyone else had issues with this credit checking company or martin & co whom are the letting agent in question.???
