How long is acceptable to be without a working toilet because the connection to the flush and syphon has snapped and the toilet cannot be flushed.

I am currently pregnant and have a 10 year old son, we have been told to use buckets of water to flush the toilet until Monday pm next week.

It is our only toilet in the property.

Hi Tracy,

It seems to me that I am the only one responding to all the cries for help thes days. Contact Environmental Health at your local council immediatly! Toilets not flushing is certainly there department. Also, the landlord is in breach of contract, not having it repaired straight away. We do not live in the dark ages do we?

Bolly
