As stated in some other discussions , the Landlord Hub’s access to private information has raised a lot of concerns. Their over zealous gathering of ” references ” may include your bank details, your spouse’s bank details , your garuantor’s bank details ( eg a parent or friend ) , as well as pension details and other savings ; bank details , phone numbers e mailsaddresses and  other highly personal details that they use to ” Approve” your application. If they do not get these details they threaten to disqualify your application and you will lose your flat/ house. Sounds like blackmail ? And what happens to all that info once you have moved in ? What garuantees do you have that it is safe ? Or that someone in their organisation is not tempted to sell those details on ?
