You should hear back from the council within a few weeks. However, if you have not provided all the relevant information or documents they need with which to assess your application, they will write to inform you about what is missing and give you 28 days to provide the proof they require. Or they may send the incomplete form back to you.
If the council has decided to place you on the register they will write to you notifying you of your success. You should then get a registration number, a PIN (Personal Identification Number) and be told how many points you have been awarded.
