Q: One of the heaters is broken and the landlord said it would be repaired weeks ago. I feel like a nag because it is not a heater for any of the main rooms, but I still like to use it occasionally – what should I do?

You should remind your landlord in writing or an email that you would like it fixed (see Getting Your Landlord or Letting Agent to Tend to Repairs [needs hyperlinked]). Of course you are unlikely to use all the heating at any one time but if your home was supplied with a system which worked throughout the property when you moved in, then you have every right to expect it to continue to work throughout your tenancy.
