Q: Our boiler was due a gas saftey inspection. The plumber did one over due and then a week later said it was dangerous as the flu needed replacing so turned it off. It needs a new boiler so are expecting it on Tuesday..13 days after it has been turned off. Where do we stand for rent reduction for the use of an immersion switch and electric heaters during this time? The immersion switch barely provides enough hot water for one decent shower, the flat is freezing having only single glazed windows and it is inconvenient. Please Advise us the best you can.
