Q: Should I go for the first property that comes up that seems to suit me or l should I wait in case something better comes along?

It all depends on how urgent your need to move into rented accommodation is. If the first one you see ticks all the boxes, then yes, why not go for it? Probably the most important thing to keep in mind is your budget and whether you can make the monthly rental and associated other costs (bills, food etc.). It may seem too good to be true to find a property that seems ideal, but it can happen and sometimes you have to trust to instinct. Also, good rented properties don’t stay on the market long, so in reality you may not actually have long to decide; sometimes a snap decision has to be made.
