If you haven’t left by the end of the two months’ notice then your landlord will need to apply for a possession order from the County Court.
A landlord cannot evict you without a possession order. Landlords might be able to get a possession order automatically or they may have to prove a reason for evicting you, depending on the type of lease you have. This would lead to a court hearing with an opportunity for you to present your case.
